ABOUT ME
My name is Alexei Brooke, and I am a VFX compositor. I am currently in my final year in the Visual Effects and Motion Graphics course in the University of South Wales, and aiming to graduate after May.
Born in Worthing, West Sussex, I moved to Cardiff at the age of 19 to study at USW. My influences range from the works of Ray Harryhausen and Lotte Reiniger to mainstream films and TV programmes.
My hobbies are travelling, landscape photography, taking photos of tourist spots and filming locations (i.e. in South Wales, Bristol or Gloucester), and walking; either by myself or with my LGBTQIA+ walking group. I am a big fan of science fiction and fantasy novels, films and TV programmes, and I identify myself as both a Whovian and a Potterhead.
I am available for jobs once I graduate.
